Lighter Massiv

I've been to two rowdy ass party's this week. First was Skepta with surprise appearances from Bruza and Jammer. Shit went crazy with a full girl led stage invasion and the second was Shogun Audio. Now I'm not a drum & bass fan but would definitely admit becoming a bit of a rave tourist...when people get wild you can't help yourself but get down with them. This shot was from Shogun, you can see Skepta HERE.

Slacking off

Woke up at 3 today...my nights are getting later and production is getting lower! fuck!

Backstage at Brighton Frocks

I just had a mailout from Brighton Frocks shouting a roll call for designers for this years event.  It should be some hot shit if last year was anything to go by. See more backstage antics here at DayGlo Poster...

Brighton on form

I've only been back at it for 2 days and the kids are going crazy!

Head over to Partie!Partie! to see what the hell i'm talking about..

I want my Múm

My last three months of 2009 were spent travelling Europe and the USA with Icelands 3rd largest music export. Friends with the likes of Sigúr Ros and Björk this band are a beautiful bunch of people. I had the pleasure of photographing and videoing all of there shinanigans. This is two of the guys just hanging out after their show in Malmö, Sweden...

You can see more videos of them on my youtube channel and lots of pictures on the tour photo blog.

Julian Casablancas

I caught the singer of The Strokes about two seconds before he jumped on stage at a festival in Rotterdam at the beginning of December. He asked me to wait til he finished his bottle of water before he struck me a Fonzie kinda pose and ran on stage to thousands of screaming girls. What a fucking hero!

also on my flickr...

Back to work...

Tonight i'm going back to photographing the wasted youth. I won't see many nights outside of a party but it means theirs gonna be loads of eye candy/wrong behaviour up on Partie!Partie!

The shot above is of Clare and was actually the first ever post made for the blog last April. I also ended up shooting her for Gang Up because she's one wild cat and totally down to do anything. You can see one of the shots from the mag here and theres more on the Gang Up blog...

Birthday!

This time last year we went bowling and I made this. This is Doug, this was his party.

Funny thing is this happened AGAIN not so long ago..

Happy birthday mate, hope you're having a good one x

GANG UP Issue B

GANG UP Magazine is something I have created with 5 other amazing people, we launched our first issue at the end of Septmber and actions are being taken to start putting together our second issue.
This is an outtake from one of my editorials in the mag, you can see another shot from it HERE.

Our LAUNCH PARTY was amazingly dope so peep the Magazine Blog to keep up to date with the progress.

Other cats involved are Kevin Mason, Louie Banks, Ophelia Fancy and Sally F*ucking Reynolds!

From the grave...

Leee Childers

This may not be a familiar name to you and it wasn't to me until I was lucky enough to meet him partying at Concorde2 just over a year ago. Leee Childers lived through and documented the true rock & roll years. Managing the likes of Sid Vicious, David Bowie and Johnny Thunders and also living/working alongside people such as Andy Warhol and Iggy Pop. He's an absolute legend and one of the nicest guys I've ever met. I emailed him on a whim when I was in New York last November. Not expecting a reply for a couple of days he wrote back within hours and I met him the following day for drinks and some classic Russian cuisine. Most of the people he was surrounded by in his youth are now dead, it was an absolute privilege to get some inspirational advice and just listen to some of his insane stories about being arrested by the KGB whilst taking what was the epic Siberian Express train route across Russia with David Bowie. I was also treated to a Private view of his latest exhibition which wasnt due to be open for another week. Anyways, enough YACK, here are a few of his photos...

i'm on twitter, start following these - ME & DayGlo Poster

PRJCT MYHM

I've been commisioned by PRJCT MYHM to shoot and design the artwork for their Debut EP. This is an outtake of Lucy who is one real life bitch ass motherfucker. They asked me to get involved after I made this flyer for them a while back. They wanted 90's vibes so I took inspiration from the opening sequence of Saved By The Bell..

I'll be posting the finished artwork once its been released..

Slapping

After just over two months, I have started blogging street fashion once again for DayGlo Poster. Click the link and go find the most recent sexy's I've hussled in the streets of Brighton..

TipToze

I recently upped a set of photos from a bowling outing I had with some friends which ended in pure ridicule and strangely no bollocking from the staff. I think they found our idiocy rather amusing.
See the rest of the set here - Partie!Partie!

Outtakes

Georgie again, I shot these because I really wanted to take a portrait including the awesome poster that I bought when I was in Hamburg with Múm last September. I Can't decide for the life of me which of these I prefer..

Georgie

The beautiful Georgie Hobday, taken on 3rd of Jan in the freezing cold. She's a right little soldier.

Outfit made and styled by my friend Lee Nguni, Shot by Me. You can see my favourite from the shoot  HERE
